TERMS OF WEBSITE USE

Last updated: August 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Website Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at www.lavr-uk.com (the “Website”). The Website is operated by LAVR UK Limited (“LAVR UK”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16576788, with its registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom.

By accessing or using the Website, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Website.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data, and our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies. These policies do not form part of these Terms.

2. Who We Are

LAVR UK Limited provides information about its services on the Website, including services relating to critical-infrastructure resilience, cyber security, research and engineering, training, and standards and regulatory alignment, as described on the Website from time to time.

Nothing on the Website constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, or a binding contract for the supply of services. Any engagement of LAVR UK's services will be subject to separate terms and conditions agreed between LAVR UK and the relevant client.

3. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will apply from the date they are posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised accordingly. Please check this page periodically to ensure you are aware of the current Terms, as they are binding on you.

4. Who May Use the Website

The Website is intended primarily for business, professional and organisational visitors, including prospective clients, partners, and other professional stakeholders. It is not directed at consumers or at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through the Website (see our Privacy Policy).

The Website does not itself create any consumer contract, and using it does not, by itself, establish a client relationship or any contractual relationship with LAVR UK.

Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have under applicable law which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

5. Licence to Use the Website

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website for your own lawful, internal business purposes.

6. Acceptable Use

You must use the Website lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

  • use the Website in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the server on which it is hosted, or any server, computer or database connected to it;

  • introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;

  • attack the Website via a denial-of-service attack, a distributed denial-of-service attack, or otherwise attempt to disrupt, overburden or impair its operation;

  • scrape, harvest or otherwise systematically extract data from the Website without our prior written consent;

  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation, or impersonate LAVR UK or any of its personnel.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website, without notice, if we reasonably consider that you have breached this Section 6.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and its entire content – including text, graphics, logos, layout, images and underlying software - is owned by LAVR UK or its licensors and is protected by copyright, database rights, trade mark rights and other intellectual property laws in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.

The “LAVR UK” name, logos and other branding displayed on the Website are trade names, trade marks or other intellectual property of LAVR UK or its licensors, as applicable. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them without our prior written consent.

You may view, download and print extracts from the Website for your own internal, non-commercial reference purposes only, provided that you do not modify any content and do not remove any copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notices. Any other use of Website content - including reproduction, republication, distribution, public display, or use in connection with any other website or service - requires our prior written consent.

8. Information Provided on the Website

We take reasonable care to ensure the Website is accurate and up to date. However, the Website is provided for general informational purposes only, and we do not warrant that content is complete, accurate, or current at all times.

Nothing on the Website constitutes legal, tax, financial, technical, or other professional advice, and it should not be relied upon as such. In particular, content relating to standards, regulatory alignment, or compliance is provided at a general informational level only; it does not amount to a legal opinion or regulated advice, and you should seek independent professional advice before taking or refraining from any action based on Website content.

9. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites (for example, partner organisations). These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, accuracy, security, or practices of any third-party website, and inclusion of a link does not imply our endorsement of it. Accessing linked third-party websites is entirely at your own risk and subject to the terms and privacy policies of those websites.

10. Availability and Security of the Website

We do not guarantee that the Website, or any content on it, will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or defects. We may suspend, withdraw, restrict or change the availability of all or any part of the Website for business, operational, maintenance or security reasons without prior notice.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Website and maintain its security. However, we cannot guarantee that the Website will be free from viruses, malware or other technologically harmful material.

You are responsible for configuring your devices, systems and software used to access the Website and for using appropriate security and virus-protection measures.

Subject to Section 12 and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LAVR UK will not be liable for loss or damage arising from viruses, malware, distributed denial-of-service attacks or other technologically harmful material affecting your devices, systems, software or data in connection with your use of the Website or your downloading of content from it.

11. Privacy and Cookies

We process personal data in connection with the Website in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Information about our use of cookies and similar technologies, including how you can manage your preferences, is set out in our Cookie Policy.

Nothing in these Terms constitutes consent to the use of any cookies or similar technologies for which consent is required by law. Where consent is required, we will obtain it separately through the cookie consent mechanism available on the Website.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

The Website and its content are provided for general information purposes only. While we take reasonable care in preparing and maintaining the Website, we make no representation or warranty that its content is complete, accurate, current or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LAVR UK excludes all conditions, warranties, representations and other terms which may otherwise apply to the Website or its content, whether express or implied.

LAVR UK will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Website or your use of, inability to use, or reliance on its content.

In particular, where you use the Website for business or professional purposes, LAVR UK will not be liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, business opportunity, goodwill, reputation or data arising out of or in connection with your use of or reliance on the Website.

Nothing in this Section excludes or restricts liability to the extent that such exclusion or restriction would be unlawful or unenforceable under applicable law.

This Section applies only to the Website and its content. It does not apply to any services provided by LAVR UK under a separate agreement with a client, which will be governed by the liability provisions of that agreement.

13. Responsibility for Misuse of the Website

You are responsible for your use of the Website and for complying with these Terms.

You will be responsible for any loss, damage, liability, cost or expense reasonably incurred by LAVR UK as a direct result of your unlawful use of the Website or your material breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this Section limits any other rights or remedies available to LAVR UK under applicable law.

14. International Use

The Website is controlled and operated by LAVR UK from the United Kingdom. We make no representation that the Website, or any content on it, is appropriate for use, or available, in other locations. If you choose to access the Website from outside the United Kingdom, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws where and to the extent that local laws are applicable.

15. Severability

If any provision, or part of a provision, of these Terms is found by any court or regulator of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision will, to that extent, be deemed not to form part of these Terms, and the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected.

16. Waiver

No failure or delay by LAVR UK in exercising any right or remedy provided under these Terms or by law shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy, nor shall it prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LAVR UK in relation to your use of the Website and supersede any prior agreements, arrangements or understandings relating to such use. They do not apply to, or affect, any separate agreement for services entered into between you and LAVR UK.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter, or their formation, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, their subject matter, or their formation, save that this does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any jurisdiction where necessary to protect its rights.

Nothing in this Section affects any mandatory rights regarding jurisdiction that may apply under applicable law.
